Anyone experience with Azure VPN

Hi all,

I’m the sole user of Manjaro in our relatively small company. Apparently we’re switching to Azure VPN in a couple of days. Does anyone know if this is compatible with Manjaro? Docs seem to indicate that it isn’t, but to my experience there are (almost) always workarounds. This time I’m not so optimistic though.

Regards, math

I have no idea.

However, this might be interesting:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/microsoft-azure-vpn-client-bin

It appears to be ‘supported’ on Ubuntu 20/22.04.

There is an official Azure VPN client in the AUR:

$ pamac search azure vpn
microsoft-azure-vpn-client-bin  3.0.0-1                                                                                                                                                                                       AUR
The official Azure VPN Client, supporting Entra ID and certificates

So theoretically it should be as easy as installing that:

pamac build microsoft-azure-vpn-client-bin

Hope this helps!

Edit:

a .deb file or similar from Debian/Ubuntu shouldn’t bee installed blindly on Manjaro, like with debtap, even if it is possible. Instead, if there is no other choice, do it manually:
