In the past I was able to use the Buuf 3D Icon set from the AUR. Anyone know what happen to them? I like the 3D look, so what other 3D Icons are there for Manjaro?
I’m using Xfce if that matters.
I found Buuf by playing with some settings. However are there other 3D Icon packs I could use?
Hmm there are no Icon sets ‘for Manjaro’ - they’re generally produced for desktop environments.
Buuf is an old example of cartoonish 3d icons which was fairly unique - one of phob1ans efforts brought Buuf to Plasma.
When messing around in settings, you can find other old-style sets, like AMIGAOSLINUX…
If you ‘found’ Buuf in settings, I’d be very surprised… however if you click ‘Get New…’ then you’re accessing https://store.kde.org/s/KDE%20Store/browse?cat=132&order=latest which is USER content - search there for your 3D icons.

Does something like kde store exist for xfce? Just curious…
One of the biggest strength of KDE during DE choice was the theming and tinkering aesthetics…

Thanks guys. I really don’t like the flat look of modern themes and icons, they just seem to be a step backwards. I use use BeOS back in the day and I enjoyed the cartoonish 3D look of that OS. I’m really surprised no one copy that look and feel.
