Annoying behaviour of recurring notifications

As I was on holidays the last two weeks, I don’t know which of the recent 4 Testing Updates introduced the annoying behaviour of recurring notifications for available updates in Gnome. It doesn’t matter if I click on the “Details” button or the “X” Button. It keeps recurring every few seconds. In the journal I see that the Pamac Daemon starts every ~6 seconds.

A second issue I have is that the internal display gets set to maximum brightness after resuming from suspend. This only happens with kernel series 6.11. With 6.10 there is no issue. Others are also having the issue and opened tickets for it. See 3691 and 3474

Not sure what could cause this, the daemon seems to fail, or wants to start over & over. Behavior I cannot replicate / confirm on a reference system. There where some updates in test, notably gnome 47.

What does pamac report earlier? eg: journalctl --boot | grep 'pamac'
Does this occur with just the pamac extension enabled?

Below what I see in a manjaro gnome system journal with normal behavior:

Thanks Hanzel! Not sure why, but since a reboot it doesn’t happen anymore. If it shows again, I’ll report back here.
