Hello,
This is the clock in my sys-tray.
When I hover over the time another little pop up appears and I see a real-time updating display of the time again in digital.
I would like an analog clock to pop up instead when I hover over the time.
There are lots of options out there, some very old and not sure if they work with Manjaro kde-plasma. Can anyone who is using an analog clock popup in their sys-tray offer a suggestion and maybe share a screenshot?
Cheers,
Flex
There is an analog clock in the default widget library
If I right click on the time in sys-tray and select “Show Alternatives” I can choose an Analog Clock which replaces the digital display in the tray that is so tiny I cannot see anything.
I was hoping for something the size of the calendar that pops up when you click on the time but instead appear when you hover over the time.
I’ll keep looking, no biggie.

There is also a desktop analog clock in the standard widget library

It’s not exactly what I was looking for but it will do.
Thank you!

I installed trayclock
which is an AUR package. I used the Pamac (Add/Remove Software) tool. Now I cannot un-install it?
Before I uninstalled it via Pamac I did pacman -Qm
from the command line and it was there. After I uninstalled via Pamac pacman -Qm
does not show it anymore but the icon is still there in the sys-tray telling me the time, even after a reboot.
It had a folder in ~/.config/
which I deleted.
It didn’t have anything in ~/.local/share/
I also tried suggestions here:
pacman -Qm
sudo pacman -S trayclock --overwrite “*”
sudo pacman -Rsn trayclock
It is still there in the sys-tray telling me the time?!
How do I uninstall and remove this package?
