AMD Ryzen 5 Mobile GPU proprietary driver for Linux

Hello,

I am using Huawei Matebook D15 laptop with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Processor and AMD Radeon Vega graphics.
Official website has driver for it - https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-5-mobile-processors-radeon-vega-graphics/amd-ryzen-5-1

But only for Windows 10, no Linux driver is there.

I want to know is there any proprietary driver for Linux of this GPU which can be used in Manjaro?
So that I can get full capability of this GPU like Windows.

What do you mean? If you don’t want to use OpenCL, then you should already be set up since mesa should provide everything related to graphics.

How to check this?

I found I don’t have opencl-mesa package installed. Do I need it for OpenCL?

Please check GPGPU - ArchWiki

Why do you want the proprietary drivers? Is there a real specific reason?

If you need opencl, just install opencl-amd, which works with the open source drivers. It is what I use for darktable.

OK installing. If I install openCL-amd, do I need to install openCL-mesa too? or only opencl-amd will be enough?

Just like you, I have a ryzen laptop. I want to install davinci resolve on it so that mean I need to install opencl right? And again, I want to have amf/vce for encoder in Obs studio, so what should I do?
