AMD’s usage on Idle state:
AMD’s usage while playing steam games:
I have used the below commands in the launch option of the steam games:
On native games: (HOLLOW KNIGHT)
DRI_PRIME=1 %command%
and on games using Proton: (CUPHEAD and HADES)
DRI_PRIME=1 %command% PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1
several months earlier, with the help of above commands the games were running fine. and was running kernel 5.4
and I have tried kernel 5.4 and 5.10 as well nothing seems to solve the mentioned problem.
I also tried to launch other applications like GIMP, Inkscape with AMD, with command like:
DRI_PRIME=1 gimp
DRI_PRIME=1 inkscape
still no usage of AMD gpu.
afterwards I uninstalled gimp and inkscape.
I launched steam with DRI_PRIME=1, and launched the game no progress.
