I prefer my applications menu to always remain in alphabetical order.

gsettings reset org.gnome.shell app-picker-layout
Resets the applications to alphabetical order after a restart of the shell. But this has to be done every time an application is installed.
Is there a way to automate this/always force alphabetically like in the earlier Gnome versions?
