Alternatives to using Dell D6000 displaylink dock stations

I recently install and configure Dell DisplayLink dock station for multiple displays but it’s extremely slow and I have gone through the troubleshooting techniques but nothing has changed. Is there more in the works? Also, is there an alternative device for using multiple displays. I have a Lenovo x1 with intel GPU but I’m also considering using an external GPU but I’m new to this hardware configuration.

    and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…

  2. An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information… (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
