Alsa audio & web rtc

Since the recent system upgrade i have a problem with audio output when using webrtc.

My setup

System: Host: i3iMac Kernel: 5.4.73-1-MANJARO x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: i3 4.18.3 Distro: Manjaro Linux
Machine: Type: Desktop System: Apple product: iMac14,1 v: 1.0 serial: <superuser/root required>

CPU: Info: Quad Core model: Intel Core i5-4570R bits: 64 type: MCP L2 cache: 4096 KiB
           Speed: 1627 MHz min/max: 800/3200 MHz Core speeds (MHz): 1: 1604 2: 1468 3: 1560 4: 1482
Graphics: Device-1: Intel driver: i915 v: kernel
Device-2: Apple FaceTime HD Camera (Built-in) type: USB driver: uvcvideo
Display: server: X.Org 1.20.9 driver: intel unloaded: modesetting, vesa resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz
OpenGL: renderer: Mesa DRI Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200 (HSW GT3) v: 4.5 Mesa 20.2.1
Audio: Device-1: Intel Crystal Well HD Audio driver: snd_hda_intel
Device-2: Intel 8 Series/C220 Series High Definition Audio driver: snd_hda_intel
           Sound Server: ALSA v: k5.4.73-1-MANJARO

The problem is: When i use jitsi conference tool (either in chromium or as desktop app) i do not have audio output. This is also true in our internal conference tool (the vhs cloud in Germany) which is also based on webrtc. Before the system upgrade it worked flawlessly.

The audio output itself works, either with audacious as with vlc or when i play dvd, youtube … So, i presume the general alsa setup should be correct. Rather, i miss something in webrtc (?)

Using webrtc the only way to get audio is to use headphones.

Thanks a lot in advance for any pointer!!!

I found the solution:

I re-installed webrtc-audio-processing (0.3.1-2)

and all turned to be fine.
