Everything worked fine with the XPS 13 9310 and Killer AX500 wifi (wlp113s0) before the update to latest linux firmware (20220119.0c6a7b3-3), see details below. Not sure if this is the reason or a co-incidence.
The issue is that the connection to the internet frequently drops while the connection to the router remains active. To re-establish the internet connection, I have to disconnect and reconnect. Then it will work for a short time before it stops again.
I had trouble with the AX500 wifi already months ago but after changing my network from 2.4/5Ghz to 2.4Ghz, it worked (but it stopped working now). There are many threads in which similar problems and solutions were described, however, the error message “ath11k_pci 0000:71:00.0: Received with invalid mcs in VHT mode 10” seems to be unique to my setup.
