After Upgrade to Testing: Plasma Icons Gone

Hi,
I’m running an awesome setup and mostly KDE/plasma apps.
Installation of Manjaro went without a hitch.

In the hope to get access to package releases faster (in particular podman), I recently went through the moves to upgrade the installation to Manjaro’s testing branch. Everything worked fine, but there’s one notable and annoying side effect: I’m missing all icons in apps, such as file type symbols in dolphin, section icons in systemsettings5 etc.

I have been reading around but none of the solutions I found worked. I’d appreciate any pointers with respect to how to diagnose and remedy this.

This might be obvious. But have you rebooted since you updated?

After running pamac upgrade yesterday on the system the problem vanished.
Weird.
How does one mark issues here as Solved?
