After upgrade and reboot there are only black screen

KDE with 5.19
After upgrade and reboot there are only black screen. I see only cursor and nothing else. What should I do? I took a timeshift snapshot before updating, but I don’t know how to restore it if I don’t see anything

switch to a different kernel and see if you can boot normally

  • Buy a Keep Calm t-shirt and wear it proudly.
  • Try a second reboot.
  • What @brahma said.
  • Try fallback initramfs.
  • Open a new topic, post system specs. Inspect journalctl, etc.

You can probably ctrl+alt+f2 to tty2 and do a restore from a terminal.

Booted with fallback initramfs and after that tried normal boot, looks like everything is ok.
