After the update, I cannot open clementine anymore

clementine: error while loading shared libraries: libprotobuf.so.23: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I tried re-installing protobuf, and protobuf-c, then restarted my system, but the problem persists. I was using the AUR package AUR (en) - clementine

I had to uninstall it and install clementine from flatpak, which works

remove clementine and add strawberry

protobuf update 23.4-1 > 24.2-1 replaced /usr/lib/libprotobuf.so.23 with /usr/lib/libprotobuf.so.24

You need to rebuild after every protobuf update
