After restarting the PC the desktop doesn´t show up

Hi,
after restarting the PC the desktop doesn´t show up. Via F2+alt I can search and start programs, and I do see manjaros mouse and welcoming screen, but there is neither a wallpaper, symbols or a task bar. I can open pamac, but the authentification fails.

Usually ‘exists on filesystem’ occurs when software has been manually installed (from outside the repos). Have a look here:

Update or package installation returns “Failed to commit transaction (conflicting files); FILENAME exists in filesystem”

I can’t install or update a package because I get (something like) this: error: could not prepare transaction error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) libname: /insert/file/name/here exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. Because I didn’t need the snap features, I uninstalled the packages via pamac. I then could update all kernels. Jay!
But the backscreen still stays black.
Why could this be? I even switched to older kernel withe same result and run the mhwd command on all of them.

The Problem with the update authentication came back, so I decided that
Manjaro is not the right distro for me. I installed Linux Mint and everything worked out of the box, Language localization and nvidia drivers.
