After latest update (last 2 weeks) widgets on the second monitor are gone, default wallpaper and no launch panel

Dear community,

I am a happy user of Manjaro 5.10.41. But after latest casual update via standard software updater in Manjaro, I restarted and found out my 2nd monitor empty:

  • no widgets I configured
  • no task-bar, that autohides and repeats the primary monitor
  • default wallpaper

What de heck? It’s a bit unexpected behavior.

P.S> Trying to remember how to get KDE Plasma taskbar working on the second monitor in the same way now…

UPDATE#1: After reinstalling nvidia drivers, widgets return. And task bar re-created using “add panel”.

UPDATE#2: While I thought the issues resolved 12 days ago, after launching today - found only 50% of the widgets, no taskbar and default background on one of the screens.

Don’t like that sort of magic.

Some troubleshooting. journalctl contains:
