and this is too complex for me to explain to you so that you can later actually be successful
language and keyboard are set in multiple places
in /etc
and probably also in the settings in your home directory (the hidden files, of which there are many)
You already have a copy of all of them, so to speak - in your original drive.
For those things, it’s easier to make notes what they where and later set them again.
Easier than me describing to you what to copy, and to exactly where.
