After 2/22/21 All text is unreadably tiny after toggling display setting

I toggled the display setting from 200% to 100% and text is impossible to read. AND the gadget to toggle 100% / 200% went away. it is gone.

How should I proceed?

The FIX is to undo this setting if you had made the change in the past:

gsettings set sm.puri.phoc scale-to-fit false
