Add/remove software don't update properly

as you can see in the image the app don’t want to update org.gnome.Platform i restarted the pc but nothing changed.

and it keeps showing me notifications about the update available, also one more error notifications were popping up, i forgot to screenshot them neither remember what they were saying, when trying to open the app and it does not open instead it pops up the notification the same behavior when clicking on the green shield icon on the task bar well in fact it turned red. it was something about peer connection or something like this.
This is a GUI issue because when i updated the package in the terminal with : flatpak update org.gnome.Platform it got updated :

it only been 2 days since i installed manjaro , this issue occurred in the first day after 3 hours or so after the installation :joy: :joy: what a … what a nice way of welcoming me to the new system manjaro. Thank god i know just a bit of terminal to solve this.

So I guess you solved it via

sudo pacman -Syu

Or you could have just looked at the latest forum posts tagged with Snap/Flatpak.

This issue has been encountered before, and solutions had been posted, such as this one in October:

Thanks for the help! :blush: Yeah, I solved it with the command I posted earlier. However, what I didn’t understand is whether this was really an error. Regardless, the Add/Remove app sometimes doesn’t open for no reason. This software manager app lets you add and remove software from multiple repositories, right? It also notifies you when a new update for an installed package is available, oook ! but it doesn’t actually update the package unless you do it manually from the terminal? I’m a bit confused, so I hope you don’t mind me asking: Does this app actually update packages after detecting them or is this just a bug that needs to be fixed? :sweat_smile:
