i am terribly sorry but i have to open another topic. after using the OS for about a week i can now no longer open the “about this system” section in the settings, it just crashes the window. this behavior is persistent through a restart.
idk how to print this to a file so you can see the whole thing, sorry. i hope this doesn’t mean i have to reinstall the whole OS…
this is my system according to an earlier post of mine (might no longer be 100% accurate, idk since i can’t access the “about”):
Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0
Qt Version: 6.9.1
Kernel Version: 6.12.44-3-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Does the problem also occur on a Plasma Wayland session?
You can change your Plasma session from X11 to Wayland by selecting the session type at the login screen (Wayland is now KDE’s default for Plasma).
If you have set up autologin to skip the password screen, you can change to a Wayland session by opening System Settings → Colors & Themes → Login Screen (SDDM) → Behavior.
If switching from X11 to Wayland doesn’t resolve the issue, then troubleshooting the issue will require more detailed information about your system. Please ensure you read through the pre-prepared instructions below:

the default for me was x11 on installation (i wouldn’t know how to change it) i did change it to wayland now and the issue persists.
wayland was very buggy for me, i had horizontal lines on the screen after moving a window, thunderbird was missing the minimize and maximize buttons and spectacle was totally bugging out. so i changed it right back to x11.
