A decent video editor for dashcam videos

Looking for a video editor that has the ability to place video side by side, top and bottom, or overlay/picture in picture.

My goal is to be able to place front and read dash cam recordings together so they are in a si gle video playing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m trying to do this with dashcam video where I was rear ended at high speeds (back video) by a large truck that carried big dumpsters and pushed into the car infro t of me.

So I can show I stopped in time with plenty of space in front of me, and it was the trucks excessive speed and weight that pushed me 3 or 4 feet.

I have avidmux but cannot find instructions to do pip or sxs.
