Did you search the Internet and saw what printer you want to buy? Maybe, I could help you a little more.
I do not know which DE/WM are you actually using. I wonder whether you could tell me about it, in order to help you.

Ye I was looking at Oki Ml 3390eco or Epson LQ-350
I use latest Manjaro native no WM here
