Is it possible to install Manjaro 21.0 with an AMD 6700 XT?
More specifically, I keep getting stuck at install phase and yes I am a N00b.
Tried also pop_os and had no trouble installing it
Here is the output of inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width

Thanks for the response.
I have no idea how to get the output for cmd inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width from the tty.
I can try to cat it to a file, but typing it all out would be somewhat painstaking.
The problem is with the new 6700xt and the gpu driver not loading.
Thanks again

Iām not an expert, but I had the same problem with my 5600XT. According to the above line from inxi it doesnāt look like the amdgpu driver is loaded.
Try this, edit your /etc/mkinitcpio.conf file to add āamdgpu radeonā to the modules section. Then run sudo mkinitcpio -P
to rebuild your modules.

OP doesnāt have anything installed yet. He/sheās just booting the ISOā¦
Hey, Iām not sure if this helps, but I am having the EXACT same problem with my Manjaro install. I have Manjaro KDE installed as of now. The problem started a couple of nights ago, the input on my machine would work fine for a few moments, then the screen would go blackā¦ first time this happened it took me an hour of rebooting to fix. Happened again today. I booted from USB on Manjaro KDE, and it had the same problem. When booting from Linux mint XFCE from USB, the problem did not persist, and it booted into the desktop environment like a breeze. Hope my input helps! I am currently trying to figure out what to do about this myselfā¦
CPU: Quad Core AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Graphics
Hmmmm, in that case Iād modify the bootparamās to include nomodeset on the line starting with linux.
nomodeset did not help, the installation stops at [OK] reached target graphical interface
I have no problems with pop_os, they updated the driver for the new radeons. OS was using llvmpipe driver before
Update on my install, i let it sit for an hour or so, came back and it magically works fine? not sure why hahaā¦ but it sent me to the login screen which is a pleasant surprise. this is a really odd issue though, I hope your issue kets resolved @Kesto-v
Tried Release 202104040259 , but the same issue remains

sorry itās not related to the core issue but just to note, I purchased a 6700XT and
LightDM failed to start, i uncommented a line about waiting for graphical interface
in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf you uncomment
#logind-check-graphical=false
There were green and black artifacts on the screen, I was on Mesa 21.0.1(stable) switched to mesa-git(21.2) and everything is working now, except some OpenCL stuff.
more info about LightDM here:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=264462
I presume you uncommented the line in grub? What did you change so I can also try that
Thanks

Thanks to everyone who answered.
I got it finally working. I have been using ubuntu on for a while now, but missed Manjaros arch with ease. I used ābrute forceā and first installed Manjaro with a older GPU from another PC. Then updated the kernel to: 5.12.0-1. Then switched back to 6700 XT and this is the first post with this setup under Manjaro. I also did the edit for mkninitcpio
