Installed OpenShot 3.1.1-1 from the official repos. The Video Export doesn’t work. It only exports the Audio. Can anybody confirm?
Tried OpenShot Flatpak Version 3.1.1, Video Export working.
If you don’t have your heart set on Openshot, there are plenty of other very good video editors available to try that might work better for you:
Avidemux
Shotcut
Kdenlive
VidCutter
to name a few.
I’ve tried just about every Linux video editor over the years and there has always been something that doesn’t work, or breaks after using it for a while. Until I switched to the Shotcut Flatpak version, it has just worked since I switched.
Video editors are so big and so complex that they are the poster child for using Flatpak.
