Bios update problem

iahve the: BIOS firmware updates: Enabled
when i try: fwupdmgr update :
it shows that there is an update:

it download it and then ask me to reboot,

after rebooting the pc stuck in dell logo. and then when i shut down and power it again nothing changes.
i tried that many ti,es with the same results
how to fix this?

Update the firmware from the manufacturer tools.

i cant find a linux version of the update file in the official website:

i putted the exe file in a fat32 usb and then installed the update from the bios update utility.

Beside of the .exe for Windows, under “Other formats”, the BIOS can also be downloaded as a .rcv file.

You should be able to put it directly on a FAT-32 formatted USB stick and flash it from inside the BIOS/UEFI.
Have a look in the manual of your computer for detailled instructions on how to access it and do that (for Dell, I think it’s with the F2 or F12 key at startup, depending on the model).
