Xterm terminal has incorrect language/alphabet in menu

When I press CTRL and mouse-click in xterm (left, right and middle click), I get a foreign language in the menu.
I don’t know what alphabet it is, but looks… Indian/Hindi? (sorry if that comes off wrong)

I’m Norwegian, but I prefer to use English; So when I installed Manjaro, English was the language I chose.
I haven’t had any language issues with any other program than xterm.

I’ve tried to google this, but I can’t find any information on how to fix this.
Following the Arch wiki on xterm, I am able to change colors and such (via the ~/.Xresources file), but I wasn’t able to find anything there either about changing the language anywhere.

So how do I change the language in the xterm menu (when pressing CTRL+Mouse-Click)?

Welcome to the forum!

I would start by making sure that your locale settings are correct. Check this out:

I may be tired but… this is happening to me to. I see Hindi or something in my xterm ctrl-right click and have no idea why. I only installed Manjaro a few days ago. The solution doesn’t work for me.
