Xfce4-notifyd doesn't seem to be working dispite saying it's running

Hey I just wanted to report a bug I noticed on xfce4, I noticed that notifications were not going through on notifyd even when I tested it with a notify-send command like notify-send "Hello World" for example but nothing happens.

If I do systemctl status notifyd it just tells me the service doesn’t exist but if I do /usr/lib/xfce4/notifyd/xfce4-notifyd it tells me Another notification daemon is running, exiting

Nevermind, just realized by default do not disturb is on… Can you guys change the default to be on as that’s just annoying to have to disable that to have to working when it should just be on by default like with the x64 Manjaro xfce4. :laughing: :expressionless:

That’s indeed an odd setting to have on by default.

Switched it off for future releases:
