XFCE Bluetooth drivers

Hello, I want to apologize first if this is not the right place for this, but here me out I have laptop Asus t300chi this is a touchscreen laptop with Bluetooth keyboard in 2021 I installed manjaro XFCE on it and everything worked fine only the keyboard didn’t connect at start but because it is touchscreen I was able to use onboard to fill my passwords so didn’t bothered me. Long story short my manjaro broke and I needed to reinstall I downloaded the latest version of manjaro XFCE and installed it, but when I tried to pair my keyboard the manjaro Bluetooth didn’t detect it at all it detects other devices as my phone and turned on devices in the area but not the keyboard. I then installed Fedora Gnome and it worked ok, but my mouse buttons were detected as one button so I decided to try Mint XFCE and again the same problem there is no keyboard detection so I installed manjaro KDE and the keyboard works now perfectly so my question is is there any possible way to fix this on XFCE. Thanks in advance!

Hi @kaimata9, and welcome!

In order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Hope you manage!

Tip:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

Please edit your post accordingly.

Edit:

Also, please edit your post and add the correct punctuation. Nobody likes trying to read a wall of text.

It’s weird that it’d work with KDE and not with Xfce, as Bluetooth support is independent AFAIK.
Here’s a guide that may provide some clues: Bluetooth keyboard - ArchWiki

I fixed it for some reason when you activate the option send files via bluetooth it will show another window were the keyboard is found when this happens it will appear in the main bluetooth window and will be able to connect. Strange solution to a strange problem.
