On many installations I have done, I noticed that setting up the initial configuration before “Booting with Open Source Drivers” (or Nvidia), it is actually ignored when installing. I always have to set again the time zone at minimum, but I think I had instances where I had to set the language/keyboard too.
Is it supposed to remember all of the initial config before booting the ISO and applying it to the installer?
I think it is a matter of convenience if you install without network and to ensure you have the correct keyboard if booting to CLI as is the case with the Architect edition.
With the GUI and network up and running the system properties are set from network - both the proposed language and the proposed timezone.
