Nvidia is notorious for causing issues - that is how it is.

If the issue is plymouth

  • boot the iso
  • edit the menu entry
  • remove quiet splash from the kernel cmdline arguments
  • F10 to continue boot

An alternative is to

  • add rd.plymouth=0 plymouth.enable=0 to the cmdline
  • F10 to continue boot
