Wrong HorizSync value written in xorg.conf

Currently I have this for the monitor there generated by nvidia-settings:

Section "Monitor"

# HorizSync source: edid, VertRefresh source: edid
Identifier "Monitor0"
VendorName "Unknown"
ModelName "LG Electronics 34GK950F"
HorizSync 225.0 - 225.0
VertRefresh 48.0 - 144.0
Option "DPMS"

EndSection

How do I find the correct HorizSync value?

If you don't know the correct values, how then you know the given ones are wrong?
Have you tried not to manually set the

and simply delete those lines and let xorg take care of the rest?
You can try edid-decode or read-edid and see if you get the values ... Both are in Manjaro repos.

I didn't set these values manually, these are the values that are being set automatically by nvidia-settings

HorizSync is supposed to be a range, and 225 is like 4-5 times higher than typical values

Hmm, actually seems like the entry was partially correct - I checked the monitor's manual, and under product specifications Horizontal Frequency is listed as 30 - 225 kHz for DP cable.

read-edid failed a call and I got this as a warning:

The EDID data should not be trusted as the VBE call failed
Error: output block unchanged
I'm sorry nothing was successful. Maybe try some other arguments
if you played with them, or send an email to Matthew Kern pyrophobicman@gmail.com.

parse-edid < /tmp/edid
Partial Read... Try again
