I’m using intel+nvidia PC with nvidia proprietary drivers.
Wine versions above wine 7.0rc2 and steam proton give the following error
00f4:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded.
00f4:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow L"The explorer process failed to start."
Versions below wine 7.0rc2 work fine.
7.5-1 was released to unstable branch yesterday.
I have tried it, versions after 7.0rc2 do not work for me, I have tried deleting the wine prefix.
This seems to be a problem on intel+nvidia setups.
Then it is useless posting about it here. If you know of a specific reproducible bug, you should post it to Wine’s Bugzilla. I did a couple of weeks ago and they produced a patch first and then fixed the issue in 7.5.
All versions worked on arch linux live usb for me but not on manjaro live usb so I didn’t post there as I think this must be an issue with manjaro.
