Wine-Staging is at 6.17 however AddRemove still is on 6.16 - need to go to 6.17

I am on 6.14 (as 6.15 6.16 break Yabridge) . Wine-Staging is at 6.17 but I’ve been checking for a couple of weeks now but Add Remove still only shows 6.16.

How can I manually upgrade via the CLI and is it safe to do so considering it was installed via AddRemove in the first place?

It will arrive eventually.

It is not in the Arch repo yet - so patience is the keyword.

An alternative is to clone https://aur.archlinux.org/wine-staging-git.git.

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/wine-staging-git.git

Modify the pkgrel with the tag you want and run

makepkg -is
