Window's content aren't showing often in task switcher

Can’t really screenshot it, but I guess it’s easy to understand.
When I’m switching tabs via task switcher - it isn’t showing content of the windows.
I use “Thumbnail Grid” and it works as in preview, but the windows content isn’t there, for most apps.
So basically it looks like a lot of empty windows(names and icons are correct though).

Is it some efficiency option to not store that info? If so can it be turned off? I would prefer to see content of the windows when I’m switching between them.

KDE System Settings > Display and Monitor > Compositor > Keep window thumbnails: Always

Note that this comes with a warning stating that it may cause issues with minimized windows not suspending, but I don’t know to what extent.
