Will not go into suspend after 22.1 April 21, 2023 update

I have two old laptops running xfce manjaro. Until the latest update 21/04/23, suspend on display timer work perfectly ie set “Put to sleep after 15 minutes”.

Now no matter what I set, the only thing that happens is the screen goes blank.
As soon as I move the mouse or press any key the screen lights up. It never goes into suspend.
This is a real problem on battery, lasting under an hour.
All input welcome,

Same procedure as every time

AMD ? …no specs, then we have to guess.

@banjo obviously you missed the memo here is the lastest version.
