Will manjaro auto detect ram upgrade in my laptop?

i am considering to upgrade my laptop ram from 4Gb ddr4 to 4X2=8Gb ddr4 ram
will manjaro automatically detect this? or do i have to tweak something or reinstall the entire system??

Manjaro will not do anything, it’s the hardware responsibility to detect it. i.e. if the device firmware a.k.a. BIOS doesn’t detect it, any OS won’t detect it either.
