How do i use my old laptop(which has manjaro installed) as another display?

so… i have 2 laptops… a new (currently using) and an old one which is about 10 years old right now

how do i get like dual monitors with the two laptops???
any ideas?

Typically laptops don’t have HDMI or VGA inputs so it’s likely impossible. As for other connectors (DVI etc) I am not sure but I presume it’s a similar situation. I tried doing this exact thing a few years ago and discovered that neither of my laptop’s HDMI or VGA ports would do the job.

Hi. Though you can’t connect other laptop directly, I guess you can try to configure X to use its monitor over network. I didn’t use that myself, but you can read about several options here:
