WiFi suddenly stopped connecting

you can try this

sudo iw reg set DE
sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager.service
sudo ip link set wlp2s0 up

Is there a date filter or a way to print last some hours of log?

I scrolled thousands of lines and they didn’t seem to be ordered. There were logs from April but then in between some from March again.

There has been a tailscale update on Unstable branch, lately.

stable1.38.4-1

testing1.38.4-1

unstable1.40.0-1

yes journalctl has a lot of filtering ability

# since last boot
-b
# just previous boot
-b -1
# date / time
--since="2012-10-30 18:17:16"
--until="2012-10-30"

Can you temporarily turn off tailscale, to see if it is a factor in the problem?

Which one do I have?

honestly, without knowing what your IT-guy configured it’s almost impossible to figure out how to get this wifi-connection running. you should ask your IT-guy to look for the configuration and i would not recommend to change or alter further setting. it will brake more than it solves. your hardware seems okay, the connection to the router is established but it is still denied due to an authentification issue that is obviously something of the special connection that is configured from your IT-guy.
He won’t be happy if you demolish the settings and i don’t think that anyone from us can oversee it from here because we would have to know what the IT-guy did.

Yeah, makes sense. I was thinking the same. Will have to wait until Monday.

How can I undo this?

don’t worry, keep in mind that you set the iw-setting to DE, but that’s nothing to concern. the restart of the network-manager is done every time you boot your computer and to set up the wifi-connection again is also nothing to worry.

Your original setting was global: 00 (unset), device: US
So you can do
sudo iw reg set US
plus the other two lines

Thanks everyone. I will post the updates on Monday.

This morning there were some updates, so I did:

yay -Syyu

and a reboot, after which it started to work fine again.

nice to hear but there is something you should think about:
yay is not recommended for updates anymore. you should use pamac and pacman to prevent broken systems. if you used yay in the past you shouldn’t be surprised if something doesn’t work after updating and wondering as it came out of nowhere. there are reasons why not to use yay anymore.
