I have a use network adapter plugged in and have no trouble connecting to other wifi endpoints using wpa_supplicant
command in the terminal.
But I can’t get the wifi list in the Settings in desktop. It’s just empty like this:
The problem occurred after a lately update.
I am using the driver mt7601u-dkms-git provided in the AUR.
ifconfig -a
can recognize the interface:

How can I get the Settings to show the wifi list? I will post more information if needed.

Not sure whether it’s relevant: I am able to list all the wifi using iw dev wlp0s20f0u1 scan
, but I cannot do that by nmcli dev wifi
, which outputs an empty list. And ip -br addr
says wifi is down, even if I enabled it by ifconfig wlp0s20f0u1 up
.
