since the recent major update I am affected by wifi issues, where Network Manager disconnects/reconnects the wifi for no apparent reason
the computer had been connected through wifi for several hours and out of nowhere NetworkManager is disconnecting/reconnecting the wifi link and causes a crash after which the wifi card is not working anymore. at least there are no trace in logs as previous networkmanager entry was 4 hours earlier.

after a reboot the wifi card works as expected again.
alternatively to avoid a reboot I was abled to restore the wifi card to a working state by clearing the pci devices and rescanning the bus:
echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:03:00.0/remove
echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan
any idea of what coud be causing this or how to fix it ?
