Somebody please help fixing my problem!!!

If you can get a working connection, for your wireless issue you probably need to install broadcom-wl-dkms. You will need to install dkms and the kernel-headers if you don’t already have them installed.

This may be helpful:

Hi @rakin09,

I’ve seen a lot of problems with the ethernet adapter lately. Try installing a different driver, as per this page, r8168 which is in the AUR:

$ pamac search 8168
[...]
r8168-dkms 8.049.02-1 AUR
A kernel module for Realtek 8168 network cards (DKMS version)
[...]

So, install it with:

pamac build r8168-dkms

Followed by a reboot.

For the wifi I have no idea, @NGr’s option is better than mine and might even be the solution.

I thought this would fix my problem. Uninstalled the current one and installed the AUR one… it worked like a charm but now im having same issue again!!

OK, let’s try blocking the current one first. Please provide the output for:

lsmod

Edit:

Let’s try blacklisting the current module, first:

sudo sh -c 'echo blacklist r8169 >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf'

Followed by re-installing to driver:

pamac build r8168-dkms

P.S.: To reverse the blacklisting, just remove the file crated above and restart:

sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

This seems to be the correct one, so I’m assuming it’s just after you re-installed the driver?

If so, just blacklist the one from the kernel:

sudo sh -c 'echo blacklist r8169 >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf'

As mentioned above, and reboot and see if it helps now.
