wifi enabled but not working

Hello everyone, I'm new to Linux, I'm using Manjaro KDE18. I did a new installation everything went well except wifi connection. I click on the network icon and I see the wired connection and a solid green box with wifi symbol next to it, but cannot connect via wifi. Any help will always be appreciated. FYI: before I did a manjaro xfce installation and wifi did work

You have truncated your inxi output. It is missing important information about your make and model bios desktop kernel ect.

You still have not included the specs for comp:

I need the entire output.

was that the first command you asked me to performed?

I'll come back after you've posted the output I've requested. In the mean time seeing as how I have no idea which kernel you are using (info omitted) install and test all kernels from 4.14 and upwards.

I copied and paste one command at a time and copy and paste results

Thank you.

Whoa, now I realize why I didn't recognize your adapters. That's some vintage hardware your running.

Try running this command then check your wifi status:

sudo systemctl stop NetworkManager; sudo ip link set wlp3s0 down; sudo lsmod | grep -o -e ^iwlmvm -e ^iwldvm -e ^iwlwifi | xargs sudo rmmod; sleep 3; sudo modprobe iwlwifi; sudo ip link set wlp3s0 up; sudo systemctl start NetworkManager

[sudo] password for javier:
RTNETLINK answers: No such device
Cannot find device "wlp3s0"

Do me a favour, whenever I give you a command to run be sure to post the input and the full out put off the command.

You might want to instal and test some of the older kernels as this baby might prefer an older kernel. Try installing and running kernels 4.9 and 4.14.

Ok, let me try that. It did worked when I installed Manjaro XFCE. I will give it a try
Thanks for all your help
