Wifi: Can't connect to my 5ghz network

The issue is I can’t even see my 5ghz network even though other networks do show up just fine, I’m using a Alfa AWUS036ACS wifi adapter that works just fine on Windows

I’m on a mostly fresh install, as the only things I’ve installed were the rtl88xxau drivers from the AUR

If there is any more info I can provide do let me know, as I’m a newbie to Linux in general

Make sure you have either wireless-regdb [preferred] or crda installed.
Reboot, and check your domain:

iw reg get

If necessary set it like example:

iw reg set US

I downloaded wireles-regdb, rebooted and checked the iw reg get command which returned

The AR part checks out as I live in Argentina, but the second one seems to be unset
So far, the issue persists

And if

iw phy0 reg set AR

It returns the full help command, doesn’t seem to let me set it like that

Sorry, we dont need phy0 there.

iw reg set AR

Second value stays unset even after doing iw reg set AR, although it now says phy#1, but trying to do

iw phy1 reg set AR

returns the help command content again
