so i switched kernels from 517 to 515 because i got notification that 517 was not supported, upon switching it my wifi adapter doesn’t work cause i dont have driver installed
Device-2: Realtek RTL8852AE 802.11ax PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
vendor: Lenovo driver: N/A pcie: speed: 2.5 GT/s lanes: 1 port: 2000
bus-ID: 03:00.0 chip-ID: 10ec:8852 class-ID: 0280
this is my device specs notice that driver part says N/A I have installed kernel headers successfully but when I do : pamac build rtl8852ae-dkms-git it says target not found
just a simple search: AUR (en) - Packages
pamac build rtw89-dkms-git
This branch was created from the version merged into the wireless-drivers-next repo, which is in the 5.16 kernel. IF YOU USE DRIVERS FROM THIS REPO FOR KERNELS 5.16+, TOU MUST BLACKLIST THE KERNEL VERSIONS!!! FAILING TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN ALL MANNER OF STRANGE ERRORS.

So Kernel 5.16 and above don’t need this driver since it is integrated.
