Steam crashing on startup after Manjaro update

Hello, I recently did a Manjaro update and it seems to be causing Steam to segfault on startup. I figure I should ask around here in case anyone has any ideas before heading to the steam issue tracker.

Here’s the error message I’m getting from Steam:

[mason@mason-pc ~]$ steam

Any help you could provide would be much appreciated.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling steam, I’ve tried nuking steam’s local files, I’ve tried switching kernels. None of these have been successful.

It should be obvious but I need to ask - did you restart your system?

Yes, I have.

:white_check_mark: - eliminate one possible cause

I know very little of KDE and even less of steam - but reading over the error message - I see there is theme parsing errors.

Now - based on those messages - if it were my system - I would experiment by applying another theme - and I now there is quite a few places to so.

I fixed the problem by reinstalling lib32-nvidia-utils. It must have been uninstalled when I tried earlier to use nvidia 450xx and then went back to 440xx.
