Why are some of the Official Manjaro App repositories slow to catch up-to-date

I’m starting to notice that some of the official Manjaro Apps that I’m using don’t update as fast at the official software. One example I’m thinking of is Discord, which as of right now is on version 0.0.18, and the official Manjaro version is on 0.0.17 . I actually happen to need to use it on my laptop today so I’d prefer not to wait for the Manjaro version to upgrade days from now. I’ll use my phone for today, but in the future what can I do as a user to avoid this problem? How can I upgrade to 0.0.18?

Discord 0.0.18 is in stable repo for 4 days already. So perhaps you need to switch mirrors.
You can always switch branches to testing or unstable if you can’t wait for something.

How do I do that? I normally just use the Add/Remove software app on my desktop

Search forum. Or manjaro wiki.
