Desktop from second monitor either loads over the primary monitor's desktop, or not at all

The desktop from my second monitor will sometimes not show up on my second monitor. The wallpaper doesn’t show, icons will not be able to be put on the second monitor, any existing icons are not there, and I cannot right click on the right monitor to pull up the menu. Most of the time, the second monitor’s desktop will display on top of desktop on the primary monitor’s desktop, but slid up a few hundred pixels. And its not just the wallpapers, the icons from the second monitor’s desktop will be where they supposed to be in relation to the wallpaper, and the primary monitor’s desktop icons will be covered up by the second monitor’s desktop wall paper too.

Based on past posts, I thought it may have been the global theme or certain default wallpapers being corrupt, but with default global theme (and I did try with and without the “Use desktop layout from theme” option) and custom added wallpapers (I also tried with default wallpapers), It still does the same thing. It also isn’t a kernal thing because it happens in 5.4 and 5.10.

[UPDATE] For whatever reason, the problem seems to have fixed itself? Maybe it was an update, or something I accidentally did, but it barely happens how. I did find a way to get it to snap back to normal. All I had to do is turn my Display Port monitor off and on again to make the desktop to go from two screen extended to single screen, and back to two screen extended. That seems to work somehow to at least treat the problem until it happens the next time?
