Are you maybe in a country which limits access to Github?

No, I am pretty sure Australia is not on such a black list, and my VPN has an exit node in the US at the moment.

I’ll try it again, after I’ve finished what I’m doing.

The problem seems related to our poor Internet bandwidth. We are in regional Queensland, and the Telcos don’t spend much effort seeing to our needs, as long as you pay your bills, they ignore you.

So in order to get something better than a poor connection, we will have to erect a mast with a yagi pointed at the nearest mobile phone tower. It’s on the list of things to do while we build our house.

Update: I managed to install, the process took several hours, but there were no drop outs so the install completed.

:scream:

Maybe if you compile it on a potato. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Good news, everyone! I’ve added firmware-manager to the repos. I had actually meant to earlier, but somehow forgot. :man_facepalming:

Seems viable, this is Linux, after all.

Thanks - I think you forgot the libfirmware-manager dependency?
