Where is PAMAC?

Stupid beginner question: I see a lot of discussion on this topic (PACMAN vs PAMAC) but I’m missing one important bit:

Is PAMAC the same as “Add/Remove Software” in the SYSTEM menu? (Yes, I’ve studied both ‘man PACMAN’ and ‘man PAMAC’. Looks like they’re both CLI programs?

Yes. If you open Add/Remove Software, go to the menu and click About it will show you it is pamac.
