Suspend to disc does not work

After 10 minutes the computer goes to suspend to disc.
Then the resume does not work, the computer freezes and I must press the reset button.

It might or might not be connected to update in the kernel or video drivers. You can try different kernel.

I have experienced much the same as you describe when using Wayland as my display manager/server, with KDE Plasma. I haven’t had the patience to research a definitive fix for that so I switched to using X11 via the login screen.

If both Wayland and X11 are installed, and if you’re using Wayland, that could be a quick fix for your problem - a non-technical solution akin to ‘sweeping it under the rug’. Cheers.

you dont have installed the nvidia drivers, and thats probably the reason …

I had Wayland session and the Nvidia driver did not work.

So I am going to install the Nvidia driver.
