When I try to update my databases it will complain

I ran the script a bit longer and I guess my router has now started to loose some packets

I have marked those pings with a double asteriks(**)

$ curl -s https://notabug.org/megavolt/random-scripts/raw/master/pinglog.sh | sh

Any possible fix??

It is your router, your provider or the dns server… so you have do tests. But since other devices work, I would rather say it is the router, since the connection to the router seems rather stable.

Can you post the output of:

nslookup ping.manjaro.org

nslookup is not installed.

bash: nslookup: command not found
pamac install bind

This doesn’t work and returns

Error: target not found: bind

Connect to ethernet and do a full upgrade first. Then install bind.

Using my pocket wifi(4G), I fully updated my system, and ran pamac install bind, but I got this

$ sudo pamac install bind

and alot more...

Then I tried to install bind using pacman i.e sudo pacman -S bind(Using the pocket wifi) and that worked fine. Here is the output of nslookup

$ nslookup ping.manjaro.org
Server:		8.8.8.8
Address:	8.8.8.8#53

The error message is already contained in your first post, please do not add it back to the topic title. Please see How to Post.

That is the result of the unstable connection. pacman and pamac have 2 different places for their database: pamac update --force-refresh

No idea, to be honest. But the problem is definitely , not your wifi card, but the router or internet provider.

Just to mention I also tried to spoof my MAC address but the issue persists.

what problems should I diagnose I really have no idea from where to start with
